Total Recipe Time:  35 - 45 minutes
Makes 2 to 4 servings

Ingredients
2 beef Ribeye Steaks, cut 3/4 inch to 1 inch thick (about 9 to 12 ounces each)

1 package (8 ounces) cremini or button mushrooms, cut in half
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons butter

Steak

Start with premium farm raised Rooters beef for a tender and juicy steak.  Rooster Beef Steaks are perfect for grilling, broiling and a variety of other cooking methods. 

When cooking steaks on the grill cook 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and turn the steaks over an continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium -rare (an internal temperature of 140 degrees F), 8 to 10 minutes for medium well (150 degrees F).  Transfer the steaks to a platter and cover and let ret 5 minutes before slicing.

Rooster's beef steaks have a delicious flavor by themselves but you may also want to consider adding additional seasonings or marinades.  Popular seasonings include: salt,  ground pepper, lemon pepper, crushed fresh garlic, horseradish, barbecue sauce, onion powder, soy sauce and teriyaki sauce.
